A Preacher and A Poet

You preach your faith framed in the name of a religion
You expect your potential member to join you with many a condition
A man will need to find peace in this inherent turmoil world
You make sure your church carries special means for the upper-world.
Sorrows have hailed from a certain religious darkness,
Whose language speaks of hatred, self-centeredness, absoluteness
You take advantage of man's greed for "Heaven"
You say whatever you think a fool likes to listen
He then goes out to create a hell on Earth
It reminded me of Hitler and his Nazi's birth
He hijacked an American airliner filled with innocent women and children
He plunged his fellow humans into the Twin Tower to have it forgotten
The serene greetings, hugs, disappeared at the flight gates since that September 11
Your preaching has ever since left the world terror-stricken...

I, a poet, speak a few languages of humankind
Each simply means love from my heart and mind...
