An American GI

He went to Vietnam...

The communist VC’s bullets pierced his body

He kept on fighting.

But when an American journalist’s pen

Punctured his heart

He took his last breaths.

Old Glory was draped over his coffin;

He went back home to America, his sweet home.

"....If we cannot shed a tear of Love and Gratitude for America's 58,000-plus dead children, for others in the Vietnam War, then I should pack and go back to where I came from."
--Linh Duy Vo's letter to Dith Pran of the "Killing Fields," June 1997.
