Farewell Mommy  Farewell Mommy

The mother drowned her five children...

In another place of the world, “One child policy” country,

The father dropped his infant girl down the well,

Thanks to cultural preference of boys.

In another place, a mother had her premature baby aborted

Her society called it “nothing”

‘Cause it’s not yet born;

Alas, one cannot abort “nothing.”

It’s already something.

Roe v. Wade: A Poet's Perspective

A Coward in Bed

The moonlight peeks inside…
The satin sheet lazily covers the bed
The man pulled on his trousers
He looked at the sleeping woman
He was about to leave
He thought to himself,
He might have impregnated her.
The female fragrance still fresh on him,
His intention is old:
He will leave the woman
With the burden of Roe v. Wade
On her fragile, silky shoulders...
