Oh,
Osama bin Laden
There
are words in the Koran to denote,
There
are words to connote.
Use
Humanity as its translator.
Do
not cut your arm just because it sins
As
an American mother who cut her infant's.
She
knew not what she did;
She
just denoted the verse in the Bible.
Do
you know what you are doing?
There
are "72 virgins in heaven,"
Is
that worth suicide for your loyal followers?
Is
that machismo?
How
about your female suicide?
She
killed herself and others for the 72 virgin men upstairs?
I,
Tsunami, have swallowed tens of thousands to Sea.
There
are Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Christians, adults, children;
In
the end, what difference does it make?
For
all the resources America has spent
To
prevent your other September 11,
She
could have helped the surviving victims.
How
about you?
Can
you stand up like a man?
Do
not hide, be a warrior for peace.
Come
and help your fellow human beings
Come
out of your cave
Come
down to the Sea...

Poet's Note: One of my readers sent me a comment on this poem and I agreed: Tsunami is not nice and beheading is uncouth. Regarding the natural disaster, one ponders where are the United Nations' billions of dollars of "oil for food" to be used for the victims' necessities?
